Portobay Rio De Janeiro Hotel

The rooftop bar and pool area provided the most amazing views of the beach. The friendly bartender made incredibly delicious drinks. The spacious, clean rooms with a balcony were a big plus. The breakfast was excellent with Prosecco provided. I highly recommend this hotel.

As bike riders, we loved the convenient bike rental service offered by the hotel. It allowed us to explore the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro in an eco-friendly and adventurous way.

Service felt exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.

Fairly clean hotel, beautiful room, fabulously helpful staff. Unbeatable location, within walking distance of a forested park. Superb bar on site. Excellent pool too. The bed was comfy, so we had a just perfect stay.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The view from my corner room was incredible, showcasing the stunning beachfront. the top floor sundeck was a dream come true, complete with excellent bar service. the breakfast buffet was outstanding, with an impressive spread that even included champagne. Additionally, the reception staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

One of the downsides was the slow and chaotic check-in and check-out process, which could use some improvement. Additionally, there were construction works starting early in the morning, causing a lot of noise and discomfort.

The hotel was reasonably large with a brilliant location so close to the beach, shops, the sea. Excellent service, pleasant staff.

This hotel is in the perfect location for those who want to be in the middle of all the action. It's just across the road from Copacabana beach, giving you a beautiful view from many of the rooms. You'll also be in a convenient location close to everything you need, including restaurants and shops. The staff is friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any questions you have. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet has a nice variety of options. You can also enjoy the rooftop pool and bar for a relaxing afternoon.

The noise from the street can sometimes be heard in the rooms, which may be an issue for light sleepers.

I loved the hotel, it was delightful and fairly clean with ideal location right next to the beach. The room was very spacious, nice bed. Lots of options for breakfast in the restaurant. Easy check-in.

The hotel's location was perfect, right on Copacabana beach. We had a breathtaking view of Christ the Redeemer and the mountains from the rooftop pool. The rooms were a decent size and kept clean. The staff were lovely and friendly, and room service was good. The breakfast offered a nice variety of food, including fresh squeezed juices and lots of fresh fruits.

The elevators had a long wait time, and the WiFi connection was not always stable.

Absolutely pleased with our stay at PortoBay. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel itself looks modern and we had a comfy night's sleep. Great breakfast with nice views. Deluxe Room with Sea View was amazing - clean, well-designed, and luxurious bathroom. Friendly staff with high security measures. Breakfast had good options with a fabulous view of the beach and ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! Happy travels!

We had a fantastic New Year's stay at this hotel! the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fruits and juices to choose from. the beach service was a great feature that allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful view without worrying about anything. the staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly and provided excellent service.

the central air conditioning in the room took a long time to cool down, and even at the coolest setting, it was still a bit warm.

I had an amazing stay here! This place is right at the center of Copacabana beach, with a beautiful view of the beach. The staff here perform with excellent service, always going the extra mile. The room was lovely with nice amenities like air conditioning and mini-bar. The restaurant on the fifth floor was great, with a buffet breakfast that had a good variety of fresh fruits and delicious dishes. The spa center was relaxing, with a lovely swimming pool and spa lounge. The sun terrace by the pool was a great place to relax with a drink.
